Group Insurance Scheme:  covers all categories of houses and their contents and vehicle insurance.  So far our rates have proved to be the lowest on the market. Funeral Insurance: Application and payments of the FBB (Funeral and Burial benefit) and FIP (Funeral Indemnity Plan)

Financial Counselling

Savings, Debt Consolidation: Financial Counselling: This is a service, which is available at all times. Its main objective is to assist members to save and use their funds wisely.  This applies equally to his own or borrowed money. The Credit Committee and the Management of the Credit Union are the main sources of financial counselling.

The St Lucia Civil Service Co-operative Credit Union is pleased to offer a medical insurance plan to its members . This plan is administered through the St Lucia Co-operative League .

..HOW TO CLAIM

 

OUT OF HOSPITAL TREATMENT
The cost of doctor's visits, prescribed drugs, injections and other treatment received out of hospital will be initially borne by you and you will be reimbursed by Beacon Insurance Company up to the amount of benefit under the plan.

IN-HOSPITAL TREATMENT

If you wish The Beacon Insurance Company to make direct payment to the hospital or surgeon, ensure that the appropriate assignment of Benefits on the claim form is completed by you andforwarded with all other documentation.

Written notice of loss must be given to the Beacon Insurance Company Ltd within 30 days of the ailment of injury occured and affirmative proof of loss must be submitted 90 days from date of loss for which claim is made.failure to comply with this policy conditiion will result in your claim being time-barred. All claim forms must be duly completed and all relevant questioos answered.
